Elora Branch 229, pledged $25,000 for a CT scanner at the Groves Hospital.

RBC announces $110,000 commitment to hospitals in
Grey, Bruce, Wellington and Dufferin counties

April 29 – In support of healthcare and nurses, RBC announced a $10,000 commitment to Groves
Hospital Foundation. The donation will fund training programs and education opportunities, at Groves Memorial
Community Hospital, that will allow nurses to provide leading-edge healthcare to the community. RBC’s healthcare
donation is part of a larger $110,000 commitment to programs that support nurses’ professional development in
Grey, Bruce, Wellington and Dufferin counties.

For a few short days, due to the merriment of the season and the fact many businesses are shut down, there will be a little idle time to catch our collective breath after a tumultuous few months this past fall.

Groves Mem­orial Community Hospital board chairman Janet Vallery, said Tuesday the board awarded the con­tract for its Computed Tomo­graphy (CT) scanner. Siemens Canada Limi­ted was chosen.
