The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275 (Fergus) donated $3,000 to Groves Hospital Foundation at their March meeting. Members raised the funds through their annual Poppy Sale for Remembrance Day.

The Legion's generous gift will fund a new Treatment Cart for our Emergency Department. It is a mobile medical cart, customized for use by physicians and staff performing specific emergency procedures at GMCH.

Last year, we had over 21,000 patient visits to ER, so this item will be very appreciated and well-used by our hardworking ER Team (some of whom are pictured above)!
