EloraFergusToday Cares is hosting a second year of the Teddy Bear Caper for Groves!

EloraFergusToday is selling Teddy Bears in our community for $100 each. Every single dollar and teddy collected will be donated to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation, to fund vital equipment & technology at Groves Memorial Community Hospital (GMCH).

In 2021, this fantastic initiative raised over $4,500 for GMCH, plus the donation of many teddy bears; brightening the lives of our inpatients during the holidays. We are thrilled to be recipients for a second year. Thank you to EloraFergusToday for their support of Groves and to all who fund the Teddy Bear Caper this year for your continued generosity.

EloraFergusToday will present Groves Hospital Foundation with a cheque of the entire proceeds, as well as all of the teddy bears funded, on behalf of all the bear sponsors. Each sponsored bear will have a tag with the sponsor individual, family, or business name attached, letting the patients know whose generosity allowed their heartwarming Holiday surprise. Sponsor companies will be listed on EloraFergusToday.com on their Community Support Page (if desired).

Almost all of the vital patient care equipment & technology used by staff & physicians at GMCH is funded by the generous financial gifts we receive from the community and from donors like those who support the Teddy Bear Caper. Fundraising initiatives, like this, ensure that our hospital is able to stay up-to-date with medical equipment and technological advancements.
